I am joining as a soldier hopefully for electronics technician, I already have level 3 qualifications, can I move straight to studying a bachelor degree in that field after training.
Hello thanks for your question.
If you have the prerequisites to study a bachelor degree then there will be scope within the Army to study. You will most likely have to study in your own time so studying an open university degree would probably be more suitable. The Army also provides certain funding towards studying but this is something you can talk to your chain of command when you arrive at your unit. Also, if you are studying in your own time and covering some of the costs yourself, the degree you choose to study will be entirely your choice and won't have to be in the same field you are trained in.
I hope this helps
