This is for the role of Officer Pilot.
Good afternoon Jonathan
You may complete aptitude/ grading prior to RMAS, and this is actually preferred due to the limited free time you will have at RMAS. It will also be handy to know whether you have a shot at AAC Officer or not prior to Officer selection board around Term 2. If you touch base with your recruiter, they can give you more information. Aptitude tests happen quite frequently (most weeks) at RAF Cranwell, whereas Flying Grading is less frequent. You will also need to complete a flying medical, which again can be conducted prior to RMAS.
As for the score, you need to achieve around the 100 mark, but this is constantly changing so do not 'aim' for this so to speak. Do the best you can as it's all about supply and demand. You will also have other elements of the test results to achieve. For example you must pass 6/7 'domains', so achieving 140 but only passing 5/7 'domains' will not qualify you. Google RAF CBAT for an example of what is meant by this.
