Can an applicant substitute The Multi-Stage Fitness Test (Beep Test) for a Kilometer Run?

I feel I would be better at a Kilometre run than the MSFT Beep Test. I don't necessarily mean run a "1 Kilometre Run," but I mean to run a pre-designated kilometre stamp or distance for time rather than level. If it helps, I am a female and can do a 10-minute kilometre.

The fitness test is always done as the MSFT which is done across 20 Metres and the score required is job role dependant.
The only time this would change is if there is a safety requirement where the MSFT would not be safe to conduct which would be very rare. This is only for selection and basic training all other test once training is complete are the 2Km run which works out at 2000 Metres again job role specific so please talk to your careers office to discuss job roles and requirements. There are often programmes run by MPCT who work with the careers offices which allow you to practice but please talk to your careers centre about this too.
