Becoming a nurse through the army.

So I want to become a nurse, but I have a slight issue. I went to a specialist school called AURORA HEDGEWAY in pilning, but they offered very little GCSEs. I have struggled with my education my whole life. I just know I want to help out. How can I utilise the army to become a nurse for reg people?

You would need to have the relevant grades as required as per the Army jobs page for entry requirements for nursing. If you do not have these qaulifications it often means you cant go into that field. However there has been people who have joined a different unit for a job they do qualify for gotten their functional skills equivalent and then completed an access course to then transfer into the relevant job however this pathway is no guaranteed.

If you look at colleges in the area you should find places that offer a part time or full time course in things such as maths and English GCSEs however this would need to be completed before joining but these courses are often free if your under the age of 25. For more information about entry requirements into this field and acceptable equivalent qualifications the please call 0345 600 80 80 and they will be able to provide more guidance
