    You get one weekend at home during your 14 week basic training, which I believe is after the 6 week point.

    At Catterick it will be the same during your first 14 weeks, 1 weekend at home. When you move on you phase 2 you will have a lot more time to yourself and will get further opportunities to go home during this time.

    All the tests you'll have to take are on the Army jobs website. Just make sure you prepare thoroughly and treat it as a 2 day job interview.
