as an OPTI is there incentives and extra pay to learn another language?

Hi Sijan,
As an OPTI there are incentives to learning a language, providing you pass the Modern Language Aptitude Test (MLAT). The usual length of a language course is between 12 and 18 months and will be fully funded by the Army. You will spend the time solely focused on the learning of your language and the course is very intense.
There are also opportunities for financial reward on completion of the course; the better you do the more of a lump sum pay out you get.
