Hello. All members of the Royal Military Police, be that Non-Commissioned or Commissioned Officers, are all trained with a "soldier first" ethos. As members of the British Army we are expected to be able to work and operate in field conditions. This is both in a policing capacity and as soldiers.
Not all our time is spent in the field however. Depending on which unit you are with and where that unit is within the readiness cycle you can spend a hugely varying amount of time in the field.
I hope this answers your question. If not let me know.
