As a guardsmen do you have to do the ceremony duty’s
I’m pretty sure the answer is yes but I just want some clarification as I’m currently looking into the different infantry regiments. A few of them are in London local to me however I couldn’t see myself enjoying the ceremony side of things.

Hi Charley, As an Infanteer in the Foot Guards you have a dual role. In addition to their combat role, The Foot Guards conduct and carry out Ceremonial duties guarding the Royal Family and Royal palaces such as Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London.
