Are you able to request areas/locations of work once commissioned as a Physiotherapy PQO?
I know that you can be posted/deployed anywhere, I may be naive to the way it works but I thought Iâd heard that you can ârequestâ locations of work? Iâm sure it depends on staffing needs etc so would be keen to hear from someone who knows a bit more!

Hello,
Every time you are posted you will be given the opportunity to complete a form detailing where you would like to work (and where you wouldn't!) and your reasons for this. A board will sit and consider everyone's preferences, and then try and place people in the best job for them. Some jobs will be competitive so you won't always get what you want, and the board may feel you are better suited to something else, but you do at least have some input.
In summary, be prepared to go anywhere, but cross your fingers that you will get what you ask for!
