Are there unpopular pings such as drives, stores, etc, in the Parachute Regiment?

Anonymous asked a question to Paratrooper R.

I know, for example, many Royal Marines face the dread of an unpopular ping, my question is if it is the same in the Parachute Regiment? Can you join with the realistic hope of doing the job you signed up to do? A second question of mine, I am unable to find any breakdowns of what the week-to-week is like at ITC Catterick for Parachute Regiment recruits, are there any available? I'd love to know how many field exercises a recruit may look forward to. Thank you for your time, have a great New Year.

There are many exciting job roles available within the parachute regiment. However the Para's are not internally structured like the royal marines. We have attached units for crucial roles like driving and catering that make up 16AA.
