Hello Kirsty,
Recruitment events take many forms, it may be worth getting in touch with your local Army Career Centre to find out what is happening near you.
You can find their details by following the link below.

Hi! Thanks but we’ve already done that. We were after national events to go to learn and see the different roles/ opportunities are in the army, particularly logistics roles, this would really get my son interested and enthused. It doesn’t sound like the army runs these currently though?
Unfortunately, there is nothing routine that I am aware of. You could try keeping an eye on upcoming events on the Army website, or for logistic focus, the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) website. In particular, you may enjoy the RLC Open Day, details for next year have not yet been released but will be posted on the RLC website when the time comes.
In case you haven't seen all there is to offer from the RLC yet, there are 12 entry-level roles to look at. In no particular order these are:
Logistic Specialist (Supply),
Movement Controller,
Driver,
Driver Air Despatch,
Driver Communications Specialist,
Petroleum Operator,
Port Operator,
Mariner,
Marine Engineer,
Ammunition Technician,
Postal and Courier Operator,
and Chef.
More detail on each of these can be found on the Army Jobs website.
I understand that what you really want is to go and physically see what is available and I'm sorry I can't help you with that right now, but I hope this information gives your son plenty to look into in the mean time.
