Are the army always accepting all instruments?
I'm a string player, and I was wondering if the army -only -accepts string players when they have a position open in the string orchestra? Or if I could apply whenever. Thanks

Thank you for your message, the instruments we employ are brass, woodwind, strings and percussion. You can apply for an audition on a string instrument at any point. The Duchess of Edinburgh String Orchestra is a wonderful job and perform at a very high standard at the Royal Palaces across the country. Thank you for answering! I was also wondering if there were any opportunities in the army reserve for string players? I can only find wind and brass stuff online.
