Hello,

I am afraid I don't have much experience working with Environmental Health technicians, however you are correct in that the they often go out on with the reconnaissance team, whether they then go on the deployment is likely to vary. For smaller short term deployments they may not be required for the duration, however larger longer term deployments may need them for the duration (or for parts of it), it will depend on the risks identified and whether these require regular assessment and review or not.

Thank you...I have applied to join The Army with my preferred role as student nurse and will be attending the assessment centre in a few weeks. I have however been asked to submit 2nd & 3rd choices which I am looking into, hence the question.
