as you've mentioned AI will continue to play a vital role, that being said, nothing can do what a Soldier can do.
When it comes to Languages the Army is always looking for special people with the ability to translate with relative ease compared to the like of someone like me that this trait doesn't come easy.
You'll go far in particular if you speak fluent Russian, Chinese or Arabic.
