My arms and legs are covered in scars, I’m currently on antidepressants and antipsychotics, I’m hoping to get off them however, the medication that works for me are the toughest ones to get off of. With clear self harm scars am I still able to join the army?

    Good Morning Erin,

Any form of medical questions we are unable to answer. This is decided by medical professionals in the background once individuals have applied. That being said, i can tell you that any medication you would need to be completely off them for at least 2 years.

That being said, whatever you chose to do in life i wish you the very best and hope that you can gain some self belief. Questions towards the Army is certainly a positive step towards getting off the medication.
