After you pass your basic training do you return the equipment that was issued to you?

Hello.
The short answer is "yes".
The equipment that you are issued in training needs to be re-conditioned and it is then re-issued to the next intake of Recruits to the training establishment.
You will get a fresh set of equipment once you arrive at your Regiment/Battalion.
