After P2 training: do OPTIs work at Chicksands, move in the UK, or deploy abroad; amid P2: how much time to see family?

Hello,
The army is a reactive force and as such it's difficult to say exactly what will happen, where you will be needed or when. One of the highlights of being in the British army is the opportunity to travel and have the opportunity to do different exiting things. Training is done at Chicksands but you will more than likely move around the UK. Typically personnel under training will have their evenings and weekends but be prepared to be doing revision or work in this time when required. I hope this helps you.
