After 4 yrs in the Parachute Regiment, am I still forced to return if recalled? How long does that obligation last?

Thats a good question, I dont know.
I think you can return to the Army and adopt your last role/rank if you return within 2 years.
Saying that, if the Army/UK was having to recall vets to fight then something BIG has kicked off. WW3 style. In that case, there could be grafts and so on.
In short, I dont know and you shouldn't worry about it.

Standard liability to be recalled in times of War is up to 6 years. or until aged 55 (whichever comes first)
Note, some specialist roles may can an extension beyond this.
